11. Is there a warranty?
The accuDEXA is fully covered for a period of one year.
An extended warranty is also available.
12. How is the accuDEXA serviced?
Machine is evaluated within 24 hours of receipt at the company
headquarters and repaired within 3 working days of receiving
the customer’s approval to repair. Lone Oak Medical
Technologies ships UPS Ground: overnight shipping can be
arranged if requested by the customer.
13. Is customer service available?
Customer service is available through our hotline, 1-888-818-4BMD.
14. How long does an accuDEXA exam take?
An entire accuDEXA exam takes less than two minutes. Scan
time is less than ten seconds.
15. How long does it take to learn how to use the accuDEXA?
Learning how to use the accuDEXA is simple. No computer
experience is required. The operator simply enters information
through a touch-sensitive LCD screen. The entire exam is
complete within 2 minutes.
16. Is there a print-out?
After each exam, the operator is given the option to print
out an exam which includes the patient's BMD, T score, Z-score,
and analysis based on the World Health Organization's guidelines.

17. Are there any other radiation regulations that we
must follow?
Each state has different radiation regulations. Typically,
the clinician is required to register the device with the
state division of radiation control, and must provide radiation
badges to each operator.
